Lemon massage can also help kill some of the germs that cause infection. If the nails are badly infected and injured then medical care must be taken. The tools used at work that can cause damage to your nails must be handled with great care and precautionary measures must be taken. Short nails can be the best solution to avoid damage to nails doing work with different tools and heavy equipments. Chemical ingredients must also be avoided as they can cause damage to the hands and nails. Gloves must be used while doing any kind of work in which hand is involved and there are any chances of damage to the nails and the skin. Dyes also leave color on the nails so they must be not be handled bare handed.
By cutting your nails incorrectly you can cause great damage to them. Improper cutting of the toenails can lead to swollen painful toes as the edges of the nails can grow into the skin. In order to avoid such conditions you must cut your toenails straight and not curved and not too short.
